Bentley Azure
The Bentley Azure is a two-door, four -seater convertible of the car manufacturer Bentley. The Azure is based on the modified platform of the Bentley Arnage, and uses the engine of the Arnage R. In the platform and in establishing numerous strengthening measures were integrated to compensate for the convertible typical body stiffness losses against the closed version. On this modified platform is also based the corresponding Brooklands coupe. The Azure comes standard with a fully electric soft top. The vehicle was equipped with a base price of € 334,021 for the Rolls- Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé ( € 440,300 ), the most expensive series convertible in the world.
In 2008, the Azure series was supplemented by a power and torque increased, Azure T supplemented variant called. In Azure T the engine of the limousine Arnage T and lateral air intakes and a front apron in Arnage T were fitted style.
