Berchidda

Berchida ( in Gallura Bilchidda dialect ) is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2866 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Olbia- Tempio Sardinia. The community is located about 31.5 kilometers southwest of Olbia and about 14 km south-southeast of Tempio Pausania.

Traffic

Through the community, the Strada Statale 597 di Logudoro leads Codrongianos to Olbia ( both E 840). The station is on the railway from Berchidda Cagliari - Golfo Aranci Marittima.

Culture

Since 1988 takes place in Berchida annual Jazz Festival Time in Jazz instead. It is organized by the born jazz trumpeter Paolo Fresu Berchida.
