Bétera

Bétera is a city in the Spanish province of Valencia and is located about 15 kilometers from Valencia. With 21,566 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) Bétera one of the larger towns in the Valencian Community. Known in the vicinity is the Club de Golf Escorpion with the Torre en Conill, a settlement of the golf club.

Bétera is located on the E -901 Valencia -Madrid. The Metro Line 1 ends in Valencia Bétera.

Military airfield

In the north of the northern hamlet of La Malla is a small military airfield of the Spanish Army ( Fuerzas Aero Móviles del Ejército de Tierra ( FAMET ), the base Bétera. Here lie the rescue helicopter Batallón de Helicópteros de Emergencia núm. II ( BHELEME II).
