Bob Kudelski

Robert " Bob" Kudelski ( born March 3, 1964 in Springfield, Massachusetts ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who during his active career, 1983-1996, among other things for the Los Angeles Kings, Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League played at the position of the center.

Career

After Kudelski had played in various youth teams, he joined in 1983 at the age of 19 years at the prestigious Yale University. There he played in parallel for the ice hockey team of the University, in the ECAC Hockey, one of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division, played during his studies. Overall Kudelski ran for four years for the team and was selected during this period in NHL Supplemental Draft 1986 ninth of the Los Angeles Kings. In his last year he was top scorer of the team and was called to the First All - Star Team of the ECAC.

In the summer of 1987, the attackers finally joined the professional field and came in his first two years in both the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League as well as their farm team, the New Haven Nighthawks of the American Hockey League to inserts. From the season 1989/90 Kudelski was then a regular player of the Kings.
