NHL Supplemental Draft
The NHL Supplemental Draft was introduced by the National Hockey League as an offshoot of the NHL Entry Draft and was from 1986 to 1994 instead.
The teams in the NHL could here about securing the rights to college players who were not entitled to participate in the NHL Entry Draft. Unlike the NHL Entry Draft just a few players who were taken in the NHL Supplemental Draft, could prevail in the NHL. Only eleven players brought it to more than 100 games in the NHL.
The following list contains these eleven players and a few players who have brought it to prominence in Germany.
