Bořanovice

Bořanovice ( German Borschanowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers north of the center of Prague at the city limits and is part of the Okres Praha- východ.

Geography

Bořanovice located on the Bohemian table in the source basin of the Líbeznický creek. West of the village runs the highway D 8 / E 55 There is also the exit 1 " Zdiby ". North State Road 9 of Libeznice leads to the highway.

Neighboring towns are Bašť in the north, Libeznice in the northeast, Hovorčovice in the east, in the southeast Třeboradice, Březiněves in the south, and Dolni Chabry Zdiby in the southwest, and Zdibsko Klecany in the west and Sedlec in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Bořanovice comes from a dated 1227 with Přemysl Otakar I, was in the village of the nunnery of St. George passed on the Hradcany. This document has been created as a subsequent forgery of the monastery for the detection of possession. Until the 16th century Bořanovice remained of monastic property. From 1576 Bořanovský of Bytíška are occupied as the owner. This originated in Moravia Gender named after the village.

After the abolition of patrimonial regimes were Bořanovice and Pakoměřice districts of the municipality in the district of Karlin Sedlec. As of 1928, the village belonged to the district Praha- venkov, from 1946 to Okres Praha -sever and since 1961 Okres Praha- východ. Since 1998 Bořanovice leads a coat of arms. Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Bořanovice Bořanovice ( Borschanowitz ) and Pakoměřice ( Pakomierschitz ). Both parts have grown together to form a closed building area.

Attractions

  • Castle Pakoměřice, the four -winged building was built in the 17th century stronghold. Until the construction of the castle Měšice it was the headquarters of the family Nostic Rieneck.
