Borovno

Borovno ( German Borowno ) is a municipality with a population of 95 in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers east of Spálené Poříčí and belongs to Okres Plzeň -jih. The land area is 230 ha

Geography

Borovno is located 582 m above sea level. M. on the western edge of the Brdywaldes. The village is situated on the state road 19 between Pilsen and Rožmitál pod Třemšínem on the right slope of the Bradavatales.

Neighboring towns are Číčov and Hořice in the north, the military training area Brd to the northeast, and Bělehrad Misov in the east, Dolni Borovno and Planiny in the south, Hořehledy the southwest, Tenovice in the west and Záluží and Lučiště in the northwest.
