Brazil women's national football team

The Brazilian national football team of women is a representative selection of Brazilian football players for an international game.

The Brazilian women first emerged in 1986 in an international match and were the first South American team that denied recognized by FIFA internationals. Meanwhile, they are the dominant team in South America and are among the best teams worldwide. Best results have been second place behind the German team at the Women's Soccer World Cup in 2007 and two Olympic silver medals in 2004 and 2008, which was lost in the finals in each case against the United States.
