Brock University is a relatively young and rapidly growing university in the south of St. Catharines, Ontario, in Canada. Most students are undergraduates ( first 4 years of study with a bachelor 's degree ), but there is also a Graduate program (second university degree with master's degrees ). Founded in 1964, a period of many start-ups in Canada. Strong growth and good reputation of the training features of the medium-sized university. In addition to older buildings, such as the Mackenzie Crown Complex, there is a building boom. Today about 16,000 students study here. About 70% of them come from outside (not from Niagara Region ).

Brock University was second in the ranking of The Globe and mail 2003 University Report expansion with some million dollar projects change the image. Brock was named after General Isaac Brock, a fighter for the freedom of Canada in the War of 1812. His last words, " Surgite! Push on! " are now Brock's motto.
