Cadelbosco di Sopra
Cadelbosco di Sopra is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 10,510 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Reggio Emilia in Emilia -Romagna. The community is located about 8 kilometers northwest of Reggio Emilia, about 22 km east-southeast of Parma and about 65 km northwest of Bologna.
History
The origins of the church date back to the mid-10th century. The present name was given to the place but even before the construction of a fortress in the 13th century. Multiple the community was ravaged by the plague: records from the years 1630, 1800 and 1830 show numerous deaths.
Traffic
The former Strada Statale 63, nurmehr provincial road today, through the municipal area. To the south runs the Autostrada A1 from Milan towards the Adriatic Sea.
