Clarkston, officially City of the Village of Clarkston, is a city in Oakland County in the southeast of the U.S. state of Michigan. In 2000, Clarkston had 962 inhabitants; to 2009, the population declined to 917.

Geography

The area of ​​the city is 1.3 km ², 1.2 km ² of land. The population density is 808 inhabitants per km ². Clarkston is located on the northern outskirts of metro Detroit, the center of the Independence Township.
