Cleveland Barons (NHL)

The Cleveland Barons ( IPA: [ kli ː vlənd b'ærəns ] ) were a professional ice hockey team in the National Hockey League ( NHL), who played from 1976 to 1978 in Richfield near Cleveland, Ohio. History

As Cleveland Barons, the team played in Richfield Coloseum in Cleveland suburb of Richfield. The Coloseum was built for the Cleveland Crusaders in the World Hockey Association and at that time had the largest seating capacity in the NHL. But the Baron was not destined happiness.
