Colin Boulton

Colin Donald Boulton ( born September 12, 1945 in Cheltenham ) is an English former footballer who with Derby County won the English championship in 1972 and 1975.

Colin Boulton moved in August 1964 to the English second division club Derby County and played in the season 1964/65 its first six second division games. After he stayed in the 1965/66 season without league bet he got 66/67 in fourteen games available for use. Derby graduated this year in the lower third of the table of the Second Division. Only with the arrival of new coach Brian Clough and assistant coach Peter Taylor at the beginning of the 1967/68 season the most successful period in their history was begun.
