Cookstown District Council

Cooktown (Irish At Chorr Chríochach ) is one of the 26 Districts in Northern Ireland. The District, whose territory lies in the traditional counties of Tyrone and Londonderry, was established in 1973. The administrative center is the city of Cooktown. Other important towns are Pomeroy, Moneymore, Coagh and Stewartstown. The District is located on the eastern shore of Lough Neagh.
