Corcuera (Romblon)

Corcuera is a Philippine municipality in the province of Romblon in the Administrative Region IV -B, Mimaropa. It has 9935 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 15 barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Corcuera is located in the north of the province, on the island Simara in the Sibuyan Sea. The topography of the island is characterized by flat undulating terrain.
