Calatrava (Romblon)

Calatrava is a Philippine municipality in the province of Romblon and belongs to Administrative Region IV -B, Mimaropa. It has 9776 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in seven barangays. Classed as it is urbanized municipality the fifth income class in the Philippines and as partially.

Calatrava located in the north of the island of Tablas on the coast of Sibuyan Sea. The topography of the municipality is characterized by flat undulating terrain. In the south are the municipalities of San Agustin and San Andres.

In the township the School of Inland Fisheries of Romblon State University is located.
