San Jose (Romblon)

San Jose is a Philippine municipality in the province of Romblon in the Administrative Region IV -B, Mimaropa. It has 10,294 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in five barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

San Jose is located in the south of the province on the small island of Carabao. Their topography is characterized by a flat undulating terrain. To the northeast lies on the island of Tablas the neighboring community of Santa Fe and the south, the island of Boracay.
