Santa Maria (Romblon)

Santa Maria is a Philippine municipality in the province of Romblon in the Administrative Region IV -B, Mimaropa. It has 7683 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ), who lived in 6 barangays. It is classified as a community of the fifth income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Santa Maria is located in the eastern part of the island of Tablas on the coast of Sibuyan Sea. The topography of the municipality is characterized by flat undulating terrain. Your neighboring municipalities are San Agustin in the north, Odiongan in the West, Alcantara in the south.
