Craig Walton

Craig Walton ( born October 10, 1975 in Ulverstone ) is a former Australian triathlete.

Career

The native Tasmanians Craig Walton won at the World Championships in Perth in 2000 and bronze was also six times the traditional Noosa Triathlon successfully. His nickname was " Waldo ". The six-time World Cup winner had also participated in the Olympic debut in 2000 in Sydney.

In 2008 he declared after 17 years of active service his retirement from active triathlon events.

He coached the triathlete Emma Snowsill, with whom he was romantically involved privately.
