Wildflower Triathlon

The AVIA Wildflower Triathlon is a summer annual triathlon sporting event at Lake San Antonio in the U.S. state of California in the United States.

Organization

This competition counts with approximately 7,500 athletes and 30,000 spectators the world's largest triathlon events. The race is held annually since 1983 on the first weekend in May to the middle distance and be the distances

The track record is held by New Zealander Terenzo Bozzone with 3:53:43 hours (2006). For women, the US-American Heather Jackson keeps with her winning time of 4:26:29 hours in 2012 with the track record.

In parallel, a competition over the Olympic distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) is also held here annually.
