Terenzo Bozzone

Terenzo Bozzone (* March 1, 1985 in South Africa) is a New Zealand -start for duathlete and triathlete. He is the current triathlon Vice World champion middle distance (2013 ) and the long distance ( 2013).

Career

Terenzo Bozzone was born in South Africa and grew up in New Zealand. In school he was able to achieve a number of sporting successes and at the age of 16, he was in 2001 and again in 2002 Junior World champion in duathlon. Since 1999 he also started in triathlon competitions and it was 2002 and 2003 Junior World Champion.

In 2008 he was Ironman 70.3 World Champion ( Triathlon 1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). In 2009 he competed in the Ironman New Zealand for the first time the long distance and finished behind compatriot Cameron Brown second place. In 2010 he was able to repeat this success.

In June 2013 he became vice - world champion on the long distance and also in September in Las Vegas vice-world champion middle distance.

His nicknames are " T. " or " Flying Kiwi " and today he lives with his partner in Auckland.
