Joanna Zeiger

Joanna Sue Pointer ( born May 4, 1970 in Baltimore) is an American triathlete and two-time Ironman champion (2005, 2006).

Career

Since 1998, Joanna pointer starts as a professional triathlete and in September 2000 she competed at the Summer Olympics, where she finished fourth. In 2001, she finished third at the ITU World Cup Triathlon on the short distance.

In 2005, she was able to achieve its first victory over the Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running) in Brazil.

2008 Joanna pointer became world champion of the Ironman 70.3 distance in Florida.
