Heather Fuhr

Heather Fuhr ( born January 19, 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian duathlete, triathlete and Ironman World Champion (1997).

Career

In their teenage years at the high school she was active as a runner and met her future husband Roch Frey know - a swimmer, in 1983 his first triathlon denied. In 1988 Heather Fuhr in Calgary in their first triathlon event.

Heather Fuhr was able to win on the long distance (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) and she won the 1997 World Cup over the long distance in Hawaii in her sports career 15 Ironman victories.

Today, Heather Fuhr is also active for the WTC ( World Triathlon Corporation).
