Erin Baker

Erin Baker ( * May 23, 1961 in Kaiapoi ) is a former triathlete from New Zealand and multiple Ironman winner.

Career

Erin Baker was in 1987 and again in 1990 to decide the Triathlon World Championships over the Ironman distance triathlon in Kona, Hawaii for itself. In 1989 she was Triathlon World Champion Olympic distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running). 1992 and again in 1994 she was also Duathlon World Champion on the long distance in Zofingen, Switzerland.

She was married to the triathlete Scott Ballance. Erin Baker finished her playing career and now lives with her husband Scott Molina (formerly also professional triathlete ) in Christchurch in New Zealand.
