Noosa Triathlon

The Noosa Triathlon is taking place since 1983 triathlon in Noosa Heads in the Australian state of Queensland.

Organization

The race is held annually in October or November about 130 kilometers north of Brisbane on the Olympic distance: 1,5 km swimming, 40 km cycling and 10 km running on a once to be completed circuit with a flat route.

The track record is held by Australian Craig Walton with his winning time of 1:44:13 hours (1997) and by women his compatriot Emma Carney with 1:54:22 hours (1997).

The next race takes place here on November 2, 2014.
