Catriona Morrison

Catriona Morrison ( born January 11, 1977 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish duathlete and triathlete who competes for Great Britain since 2004. She is two -time World Champion on the long distance (2007, 2008) and two-time European champion (2007, 2009) in the duathlon and two-time Ironman champion (2010, 2011).

Career

Started in 2002 Catriona Morrison at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Salford for Scotland in triathlon (along with Stephanie Forrester and Bella Comerford ). In 2006 she was in Canada Duathlon World Champion on the short distance.

In 2009 she created in Roth in her first start at the Ironman or long distance (3.86 km swim, 180.2 km cycling, 42.195 km running) set a new world record for the debut time, and reached the third place. In 2010 she won the Ironman Lanzarote.

Her nickname is Cat. Today she lives in Broxburn.
