Crispin Freeman
Crispin McDougal Freeman ( born February 9, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American voice actor who is best known for his voice roles in anime.
Biography
Crispin Freeman is the oldest of three siblings, he has a brother, the musician Clark Freeman, and a sister, actress Cassidy Freeman. All three siblings attended the Latin School of Chicago, where he graduated in 1990. Freeman then visited the Williams College, which he in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in its main compartment finished theater. After college, he attended Columbia University, where he holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting graduated in 1997.
Then Freeman played at various theaters, including on Broadway in New York City or in the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles.
His breakthrough as a voice actor for animes he had in 1995 in the role of Zelgadis Grey Words in the anime series Slayers. Since then, Freeman had in many, internationally known anime series and movies speaking roles, such as the vampire Alucard in Hellsing, Kyon in Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu, Togusa in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex or Jeremiah Gottwald in Code Geass.
Since 11 August 2007 Crispin Freeman is married to Carol and Izobel speaks his native language, also fluent in Spanish.
