Danny Lorenz

Danny Lorenz ( born December 12, 1969 in Murrayville, British Columbia) is a former Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played, among others, the National Hockey League for the New York Islanders, as well as in the German Ice Hockey League for the Adler Mannheim.

Career

The 1.78 m wide goalie began his career with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League before he selected as 58 in the third round at the NHL Entry Draft 1988 ( drafted ) was.

His first NHL inserts for the Islanders completed the Left Catcher in the 1990/91 season, before he had been already used in various farm teams in the American Hockey League and East Coast Hockey League. In the following years, the goalkeeper was again in a few games of the season for New York on the ice, the goalkeeper, it was never enough for him, however, so he eventually played only in the tiefklassigeren International Hockey League. At the beginning of the season 98/99 Lorenz came to the Mannheim Eagles.
