David Jarolím (2008)

David Jarolím [ david jarɔ̹li ː m] ( born May 17, 1979 in Čáslav ) is a Czech footballer who is currently the Czech first division club FK Mladá Boleslav under contract.

Career

Clubs

In Čáslav (German Tschaslau ) born Jarolím spent part of his childhood in France and started to play football in the youth department of FC Rouen; for the second division his father Karel 1987-1990 worked as a professional footballer. After the return of the family to his native country he put the football on in the youth department of Slavia Prague. With Slavia he was Czech A- Youth Champion. In 1994 he moved to Bayern Munich. On 3 May 1997, he debuted in the Regionalliga Süd for the amateurs of the FCB. For the season 1997/98 he moved to the senior squad, but played mainly for the amateurs. His only inserts for the first team of FC Bayern he completed on 13 April 1999 (26th Round ) in the 1-2 defeat at Kaiserslautern as he was substituted for Ali Daei in the 80th minute, on 17 July 1999 at 2-1 win in the League Cup final against Werder Bremen when he came in to replace Lothar Matthäus in the 79th minute and on 22 March 2000 in the 0-2 defeat in the last intermediate round match of the Champions League against Dynamo Kiev when he Roque Santa Cruz in the 77th minute was used.

With contract extension on 21 April 2009 Jarolím now belongs to the HSV on 30 June 2012.

Under Armin Veh Jarolím was not like in previous years, the undisputed master players. This was also the case under his successors Michael Oenning and Thorsten Fink. Jarolím sat most of the time on the bench and so came only occasionally to brief appearances. Jarolím appearances for his country games in the U-15, U -16, U -18, U-20 and U-21 national team before the qualifying return match for the World Cup 2006 in Prague at 0-2 against on 8 October 2005 the Netherlands - on as a substitute in the 76th minute for Jiří Štajner - debuted in the senior team.
