Diane Towler

Diane Towler behaves. Green (born 16 December 1946 in London) is a former British figure skater who started in ice dancing.

With four world titles, Diane Towler and Bernard Ford lined up in the ranks of successful British ice dancers. As they had brought Jean Westwood and Lawrence Demmy and Courtney Jones on four world titles. International they are surpassed only by Lyudmila and Alexander Gorshkov Pakhomova who brought it to a total of six titles.

Towler and Ford was awarded the Order of the British Empire. In 1993 they were included in the Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

After her partner went to Canada, she became a trainer. Among her pupils were the bronze medal winners of the 1972 European Championship, Janet Sawbridge and Peter Dalby and her twin daughters Candice and Phillipa.
