Dmitri Megalinsky

Dmitri Alexandrovich Megalinski (Russian Дмитрий Александрович Мегалинский; born April 15, 1985 in Perm, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Spartak Moscow HK from the Kontinental Hockey League since 2013.

Career

Dmitri Megalinski began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Molot Perm - Prikamye. From there he moved in 2002 to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, for the second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja League in the next four years. After he initially only sporadically for Yaroslavl professional team in the Super League was used, the defender sat in the season 2005 /06 in locomotive and gave an assist in 28 games.

The 2006/07 season spent Megalinski at Chimik Woskressensk in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. He subsequently received a contract with Vityaz Chekhov. For Vityaz he stood first in the 2007/ 08 season in the Super League and from the 2008/09 season in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League on the ice. In June 2011 Megalinski was obliged Novokuznetsk Metallurg, where he received a contract for two seasons.

Internationally

For Russia Megalinski took part in the U20 World Youth Championship 2005, where he was runner-up with his team.
