Tom Wandell
Tom Wandell ( born January 29, 1987 in Södertälje ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2013.

Career
Wandell began his career at the age of 15 years in the junior division of the Swedish Elitserien clubs Södertälje SK. First, at the U18 Juniors, later in the U20 team. There he completed after several streaky years in the 2005 /06 his best year with 39 points in 41 games scorer for the U20 team. Previously, he had been already selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the fifth round to 146th place out of the Dallas Stars, even though he had failed in 2004/05 because of a torn ACL large parts of the game this year. During the 2005/06 season Wandell was also the first time for the seniors team in the Elitserien used and played six games in which, however, get no points to him. After the descent of the teams in the second-class HockeyAllsvenskan the trained Center left the club and joined the 2006/07 season in the Finnish SM- liiga to Ässät Pori, who stood in cooperation with the Dallas Stars. For 2007/ 08, the Dallas Stars made use of their right and brought the Swedes to North America after they had brought him in May 2007 for signing a three- year contract. Due to the NHL lockout played Wandell October to December 2012 for Severstal Cherepovets in the Kontinental Hockey League ( KHL ). Then he returned to the Dallas Stars back, but was used in the episode in the AHL with the Texas Stars. Since his contract expired after the 2012/13 season, he left the club and was obliged by HK Spartak Moscow of the KHL.
Internationally
At the international level Wandell represented his country at the U18 Junior World Championship 2004 in Minsk, Belarus. There he reached with the Swedish national team after a third place in the group stage and a subsequent quarter-final defeat only the fifth place in the final standings. In six tournament games, he remained tor and no points, but received four penalty minutes.
