Domènec Balmanya

Doménec Balmanya Perera ( born December 29, 1914 in Girona, † February 14, 2001 in Barcelona) was a Spanish football player and coach.

Playing career

Balmanya joined in 1935 by his hometown club FC Girona to Barcelona, for which he at the derby against Espanyol (0-1) made ​​his debut on 10 November 1935. In his first season, 1935/36, in Barcelona he won the Catalan Championship and reached the finals of the Spanish Cup. The ensuing Spanish championship was not held due to the Spanish Civil War. Coaching career
