Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd is a compilation of British band Pink Floyd. It was published in 2001 by EMI.

Creation and publication

The live albums as eg pulses 1995 and Is There Anybody Out There - The Division Bell Although since no new material was created in 1994, Pink Floyd recordings regularly came on the market? The Wall Live 1980-81 2000. During 2001 should follow a best-of compilation, the first since Works 1983.

Echoes, named after the piece of Meddle was produced by James Guthrie and Pink Floyd, Doug Sax, James Guthrie and Joel Plante mastered. On the double album pieces from all periods of the band were put together, but not in chronological order. The cover was designed by Storm Thorgerson.
