Atom Heart Mother is the name of the published on October 10, 1970, the fifth album by the band Pink Floyd. It was the first album of the band, which was recorded especially for four-channel quadraphonic and was leading the way for further work by Pink Floyd in this regard.

Formation

The album was recorded in London's Abbey Road Studios from February to August 1970.
