El Taref Province

The El Tarf Province (Arabic ولاية الطارف, DMG Wilāyat aṭ - tariff) is a province ( wilaya ) in the far east of Algeria.

The province is located on the Mediterranean coast and on the east by Tunisia, it has an area of ​​2968 km ².

Around 396,000 people ( 2006 estimate ) live in the province, the population density is thus approximately 134 inhabitants per square kilometer.

The provincial capital is El Tarf.
