Emblem of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic

The coat of arms of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic since 1950 used in the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic until the dissolution of the Soviet Union. 1995, it was replaced by the current coat of arms of Belarus.

The coat of arms of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic was in the background of a rising sun on a globe with long sun rays. Above you will find a hammer sickle and also a star. The latter three symbols stand for communism. The edge of the crest forms a braided banner from wheat ears and flowers. At the bands on the edge of the emblem is available in both Belarusian and Russian language in small letters the motto Proletarians of all countries, unite!
