Final score was a Finnish hardcore punk band from Riihimäki, founded in 1996 and again in 2008 disbanded. The band played in her career along with other groups such as Sick of It All, Refused, Battery, Strike Anywhere, The Hope Conspiracy, Entombed, Nine, Catharsis, As Friends Rust, Terror, Tragedy, Converge, Most Precious Blood, Walls of Jericho, Bane, Eighteen Visions, Ensign, Throwdown, Rotten Sound, Cult of Luna, Cataract, Heaven Shall Burn, comeback Kid and Buried Inside.

History

The band was founded in early 1996 by vocalist Janne Tamminen, guitarist Mika Kaukonen, bassist Joel Sipilä and drummer Jani. After the band spent the first six months to develop and rehearse the songs, they played their first concert together with the Swedish band Outlast. In the same year they also released their first demo yet. In 1998, their self-titled EP and the following year a split release with Aurinkokerho about Impression Recordings appeared. The debut album, To Whom It May Concern ... In the same year also on Impression Recordings. It was followed by appearances together with Eighteen Visions, terror and Entombed. During these appearances drummer Jani left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Henrik ' Henkka ' Furu.

The Fire Inside EP was released in 2001 on Combat Rock Industry, on the drummer Furu first time was heard. In the following year came with Jani Koskinen, a second guitarist to fill. This was to be heard on the album Never Fall Into Silence, but a short time after the publication by Juho Angervuori was replaced. After tours followed with Sick Of It All, Converge, Cataract and Heaven Shall Burn.

In 2003, the EP Hit and Run, the album Burning Bridges in the following year joined appeared. This was the last release, was to listen to the drummer Furu before he was replaced by Pekka Hänninen. Subsequently other trips where Angervuori guitarist left the band.

The next album, The Time Is Now appeared in early April 2006 in Sweden on Combat Rock Industry and in the rest of Europe via Lifeforce Records. As a second guitarist Tapio Vartiainen was occupied, but the beginning of 2007 already left the band. He was not replaced, so the band 's fourth match. In addition, the group of Lifeforce Records parted. In early October 2007 she released the album Spark, before the band split in January 2008.

Style & Influence

The band plays classic hardcore punk, the music with other bands like Disfear, Blacklisted, Modern Life Is War, Bane and The Hope Conspiracy is compared. The German band Heaven Shall Burn coverte the song Destroy Fascism on a split release. On the recorded music was also Caliban heard.
