Étoile de Bessèges
The Étoile de Bessèges (German Star of Bessèges ) is a stage race for cyclists in southern France.
The discharged since 1971 race takes place every year in early February. The former one-day race has become a stage race and usually includes five dayparts. The race is held on the eastern edge of the spectacular and quite mountainous Cévennes region and performs on the streets around Bessèges and Marseille.
Since 2005 belongs to the Star of Bessèges to UCI Europe Tour and is classified in category 2.1.
