Euro Hockey League 2007–08
The Euro Hockey League 2007/2008 was the inaugural event of the newly introduced by the European Hockey Federation EHF Euro Hockey League. The winner was the German representative Uhlenhorster HC from Hamburg. As part of the competition, there were the following tournaments:
- 26 to 28 October 2007: 4 preliminary groups in Wassenaar / Netherlands
- 2 to 4 November 2007: 4 preliminary groups in Antwerp / Belgium
- 21 to 24 March 2008: eighth - and quarter-finals in Terrassa / Spain
- 8 to 11 May 2008: Semi-finals and finals in Rotterdam / Holland
Participant
One of the best leagues so are the Dutch Rabo Hoofdklasse, the Spanish Division de Honor masculines - A, English England Hockey League and the German Hockey League. The national federations to nominate these participants:
Preliminary round
A win there were 5 points, 2 points for a draw and a defeat by less than three goals a point. With point- and Torgleichheit a 7-meter shooting was discharged to the second group space.

Euro Hockey Trophy
The Euro Hockey Trophy was held by the French Vice Champion CA Montrouge. It forms the first substructure for Euro Hockey League. The clubs play next to the title also points to its national association in the EHF -3 -year rating which determines the number of clubs a nation for the European Cup competitions. Qualified for the trophy, the runner-up of the countries to positions 9 to 12 and the masters of the country were at positions 13 to 16 in the EHF three -year rating.
