Winners and nominees in the category Best Original Score (European Composer) since the second ceremony on November 25, 1989 in Paris. A price was not awarded until 2003 in the years 1990 and 1993, in 1988 a special price to Juri Khanon (Russian Dni zatmenia ) was awarded. With two wins British, French and Italian film composer had been most successful. 2008 could be classified with Max Richter for the first time a composer of German-speaking countries in the list of winners.
