Expo 2015

The World Expo 2015 will be held in Milan from May 1 to October 31, 2015.

History

In October 2003, the Italian government decided to compete with Milan for Expo 2015. As the exhibition grounds of the New Milan Trade Fair was provided, which opened in 2005. Infrastructure

The site, which will house the exhibition halls of the Expo 2015, extends north-west of Milan in the municipalities of Rho and Pero. It occupies an area of 1.1 km ² and renames City Life. Apart from the new exhibition center, Fiera di Milano, designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas, creates a urban redevelopment of the entire area. Pavilions

Germany

The participation contract for the EXPO 2015 was signed on 25 September 2012. Switzerland
