Federico Villagra

Federico Villagra ( born May 21, 1969) is an Argentine rally driver. He is currently riding for the Munchi 's Ford World Rally Team in the World Rally Championship.

Career

At the age of ten years Villagra began his motorsport career in motocross racing. In 1997 he took part in a first Argentine rally event along with his brother Javier. Already in the same year he made ​​his debut in the WRC, the World Championship race in his home country and was third in the class F2.

Seven years in a row he was Argentine Rally Champion, 2001-2005 in class N4, 2006 and 2007 in the class N.

In 2007, he was then taken from the Munchi 's Ford World Rally Team under contract. At the Rally Japan, he was seventh overall this year, coming in his first World Cup points. In the 2008 season, he played a total of ten rallies in the WRC and reached here a seventh and two sixth places.
