Filip Đuričić ( Serbian Cyrillic Филип Ђуричић, born January 30, 1992 Obrenovac; spelling Filip Djuricic ) is a Serbian footballer who is the Portuguese giants Benfica under contract and plays for the Serbian national team. His contract has a release clause of 40 million euros. Due to his performances in the Eredivisie, he received the nickname " Cruyff of the Balkans".

Club career

Youth clubs

Đuričić was born some 30 km from Belgrade in Obrenovac in the former Yugoslavia. At the age of 13 years Đuričić started playing in the youth of Red Star Belgrade football, having previously played in his native city at Radnički Obrenovac. After two years of 2007, he moved to Olympiakos Piraeus in Greece. At that time Greek champions but the midfielder was only a year and moved back to Radnički Obrenovac.

Start of professional career

At the club from his hometown, the Radnički Obrenovac, he made his debut at the age of 16 years in the professional sector and completed 15 league games for the club. SC Heerenveen

On 13 March 2009 Đuričić signed a preliminary contract with SC Heerenveen as the successor of Danijel Pranjić who had the direction of club Bayern Munich left. His debut celebrated against RKC Waalwijk in the second half of the 2009/10 season, where he managed to equal one assist, the Gerald Sibon could use. His first hit in the jersey of the Frisians marked Đuričić against AZ Alkmaar on 26 matchday. In the following three seasons he was a regular, scoring a total of 109 official matches 26 goals for the club. Benfica Lisbon

On February 23, 2013 Benfica confirmed the commitment of the 21 -year-old Filip Đuričić who paid 6 million euros for him.
