Fleury (Aude)
Fleury is a commune with 3608 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Aude department in the Languedoc- Roussillon region; it belongs to the district of Narbonne and the Canton Coursan.
Fleury, formerly called Perignan, located about 12 km from Narbonne and 15 km from Béziers. The municipality comprises the three settlements Fleury- d'Aude, the historic town in the hinterland, the seaside resort of Saint -Pierre- la -Mer, Les Cabanes de the fishing village of Fleury at the mouth of the Aude and some hamlets and isolated farmsteads. The east of the Autoroute A9 located municipality area is part of the Regional Park Narbonnaise en Méditerranée.
