France national handball team

The French men's national handball team represents France in international tournaments in the men's handball.

The French team ( " les experts" ) has existed since the 1940s, at the beginning of the 1990s, she established herself in the world rankings of handball. She won four World Cups (1995, 2001, 2009 and 2011 ), the Olympic Games in 2008 and 2012 as well as three European Championships (2006, 2010 and 2014 ).

By winning the gold medal at the 2008 Olympics, the 2009 World Championships and the 2010 European Championships, the team was the first that was title holder in the three largest international competitions simultaneously.
