Frankfurter Ring (Munich U-Bahn)

The subway station Frankfurter Ring in Munich is named after the crossing main road and was opened on 20 November 1993. It is served by the U2 line.

As the station Am Hart is also the ceiling of corrugated anodised aluminum, which scatters bird wings similar to the light. Similarly, the pillars in the middle of the platform in the lower part are covered to protect from contamination with aluminum sheet, which at the same time also sets a design accent. The rear track walls were covered by Ricarda Dietz with mosaics of bright and blue glass tiles, which appear repeatedly animal motifs.

At the northern end of the platform lift into a lock level, can be reached from where the Frankfurter Ring. A 800 meter long strip of graffiti was sprayed on hard coming from white and blue stripes in the tunnel on the walls. It is intended to represent the speed of the subway.
