Innsbrucker Ring (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station is an interchange station Innsbruck ring the Munich subway to the east of the city. This is where the lines intersect U2 to the fair city of East and U5 to Neuperlach South. Additionally, the metro station is served by the gain line U7 since 12 December 2011, it only runs in the morning rush hour and at the Innsbruck ring turns off from the main line 2 on the trunk route 3.

Location

The underground station is below the intersection of the Innsbruck ring ( a portion of the middle ring ) with the bath Schachener road at the border between the districts of Berg am Laim and Ramer village.

History

Metro Station Innsbruck ring was opened on 18 October 1980. At that time there perverted the U8 (now U2) Neuperlach South and the U1, the east turned in the beginning the inflection system of the middle tracks of the four-track station, before they drove from Columbus square from 1997 to Mangfallplatz. On October 27, 1988 for the first time reached the U5 the Innsbruck ring on the outer tracks.
