Karl-Preis-Platz (Munich U-Bahn)

Metro Station Karl- Preis-Platz in Munich was opened on 18 October 1980. It is served by the U2 and since December 12, 2011 by the gain line U7, which only runs in the morning rush hour.

The station is located under the Claudius - Keller-Straße in the Ramersdorf area. The rear track walls are covered with large gray beige wall panels, the floor is paved with Isarkiesel art stones, the pillars are covered with gray beige tiles and equipped with two light bands ceiling is veneered with aluminum fins. While one arrives at the western end of a ramp to the surface, leads at the eastern end of a stair to a lock level, from which the intersection Claudius-Keller-Straße/Rosenheimer road is reached.

The name was given to the subway station after lying there, Karl- Preis-Platz, Claudius - Keller-Straße corner Rosenheimerstraße, which was named after Karl Sebastian Price, SPD city council in Munich and founder of the municipal housing company GEWOFAG.
