Gabriela Grillo

Gabriela Grillo ( born August 19, 1952 in Duisburg ) is a German entrepreneur and former dressage rider. She is the cousin of Ulrich Grillo.

After graduating from high school in 1971, a Duisburg Grillo wrote in the same year of Musicology, German Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Cologne. From 1976 to 1982 she was a member of the German dressage team. During this time, her greatest sporting achievements, winning the team gold medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976 fell in dressage; in the single competition they finished 4th. Both successes they erritt on her Trakehner Ultimo. Grillo has written several books on horsemanship.

Since 1993, Grillo, great-granddaughter of William Grillo, Managing Partner of Wilhelm Grillo Handelsgesellschaft mbH. Since October 2004, she is also currently Chairman of the Grillo -Werke AG, the Supervisory Board has belonged since 1995. She was also a trustee of the University of Duisburg -Essen.

In November 2010, Grillo was in Gladbeck the Luther Rose for social responsibility and entrepreneurial courage of Martin Luther Foundation International.
